Fantastic experience: Our family have been proud supporters of McGrath Vets for years now and I honestly cannot recommend them enough for all their hard work, professionalism and dedication. We have been bringing our dog, Pongo here since he was a puppy. He is rarely ever sick, so most of our visits are just routine check-ups or for vaccines, but every interaction has been so positive. All of the staff here are so friendly and kind, the clinic has a calm and welcoming atmosphere. Eugene Jnr. and all the crew are very supportive, professional, kind and they're happy to answer any concern I have, no matter how small. I cannot thank them enough for taking care of Pongo all these years. I never feel like I am being rushed or that I am bothering them by voicing a concern, they're very good for answering all my questions. What I really love about McGrath Vets is how consistent they are and how much they go above and beyond the call of duty. I admire the level of care they bring to your animal. We always feel welcome when we go in there. It doesn't matter if I'm taking Pongo in for a check-up, asking a simple question or buying items, we're always met with kindness and compassion by receptionists, Sarah, Caoimhe, Shaughna and Sharon and by vets, Eugene Jnr., Niall, Fiona and the entire team. I really appreciate how nice, polite, professional and dedicated they all are and how they show genuine interest in the animal and in the owner too. I appreciate how reassuring and how calm they all are. They explain situations calmly and they take the time to explain what they are doing, so that you feel relaxed. I love how sympathetic and caring they are, and I love that they choose to make small talk where possible and even have a little laugh with you, the owner, it makes it more of a relaxed and supportive environment. But, most importantly, they're all very knowledgeable about animals. I do want to mention that we've been going here since the original vet, Eugene Snr. was in charge and it's lovely to see that you are treated with the same level of kindness, compassion and support as always. I think it's very noble how Eugene Jnr. is as passionate as his father was and carried on running the clinic and I love the fact that it's a family heirloom in it's own right. I think it's very admirable and I hope it stays that way for many more year. I appreciate his father too, taking care of Pongo for many years. The apple does not fall far from the tree in this family. I do want to mention that one Sunday afternoon in February this year, when the clinic was closed all day. I found an injured crow on the side of road, lying there unable to fly I immediately called McGrath Vets and I got through to a vet on-call. Young Eugene was on-call and he was super duper nice and very supportive. I admire his willingness to answer the call. Even though it wasn't a typical emergency, he still chose to take my concerns seriously and drove out to pick up the crow, absolutely free of charge. Even though the crow unfortunately did not make it as I hoped he would, it was still good that he got the care he deserved and I won't forget what Eugene did for me. If that doesn't tell you how much he's got the making of a good, polite vet, then I don't know what does. So, final closing thoughts, if you're looking for a vet clinic in Tralee that is kind, trustworthy, caring, polite, supportive and friendly, please go into McGrath Vets. You won't be disappointed with the service and the pricing is excellent as well. Fantastic experience: Back in September 2023, our dog Lily had an accident involved a car. From the minute I rang after the accident to surgery and after treatment. Mcgrath's Vets were superb as always in helping with the worry we felt and any questions we had during the whole process. We are forever greatly to McGraths Vets and staff for their continued support with Lily. She loves to go in and be showered with hellos and belly rubs from the staff for her continued check ups.

They were extremely helpful from booking my appointment via email (I couldn’t phone) to treating my dog wonderfully well and giving him the best of care. Fantastic experience: I have been attending McGraths Veterinary Clinic for over 10 years. Sadly I lost my little dog to old age in November. I highly recommend Eugene & his brilliant staff. The care they gave my dog right up to his final days was just outstanding.

Fantastic experience: Had to go to McGraths this past weekend as my guinea pig was after becoming quiet sick. Freda was nothing short of professional and informative. She was super friendly and helpful. Unfortunately the outcome was not what we had wanted but that was in no way due to the level of care our pet received, unfortunately he was just too sick but again he was cared for brilliantly and got the best chance he could with these vets. Very happy to recommend McGraths and thank you for all your help.

Fantastic experience: My husband’s family has been going to McGrath’s for many years, so when we got our own cats we decided to go there as well and it was the best decision ever. Everyone there is so nice, from the people at reception to the nurses and doctors. The way they treat and care for the animals is absolutely fantastic. They saved the lives of two of our girls when they had a bad respiratory infection. No matter how big and old our cats are, they still treat them like the babies they are on our eyes. I can’t recommend them enough. They are amazing!

Fantastic experience: Recently my pet dog Hugo,an Old English Sheep dog suffered a twisted gut and the outlook looked poor for him. Thankfully under the fantastic care of Eugie Jnr,Niall and staff he under went major surgery and made a full recovery. Hugo is back to his best and thanks to all in Mcgraths Vets,Tralee.

Fantastic experience: Excellent Vet Practice. I love the fact that it's very obvious everybody there cares about animals. I once called with in an injured Pigeon and it was looked after which I really appreciated. Treatment costs are reasonable and I have always been helped and advised when I have made contact about stray animals not every vet is as helpful so McGraths is an excellent practice to trust with your pets care!

Fantastic experience: I feel blessed to have found this practise that I couldn't recommend highly enough. As a walk in with an emergency I was met with a warm welcome and immediate medical response. Without exception, everyone at this practise is part of a team that combine professionalism with a caring approach. Having moved to the area and leaving our vet relationship of decades behind, it was quite a relief to find this gem, especially as it wasn't the first door I entered ... but it was the first door my cat entered... And then his friend because in Ireland it doesn't rain but it pours. Aussi is unwell and won't get better due to a sad diagnosis at age 4 but I am confident he will be maintained happily and comfortably to and through his end days by this practise. A special shout out to Niall, who went the extra mile to investigate and diagnose Remmy, an elder cat, same day quickly and who is now, as a result, on the mend rather than going through rounds of tests which is so often necessary with the "invisible". Niall's approach - calm, thorough, ernest, effective is impressive! Spooks and Memo will be attending in due course but not too soon I hope but so wonderful to know where we will go when the time comes.
