Negative experience: I rang this practice to get an appointment for an elderly cat I was concerned about. The service I received on the phone was shocking. The person who I spoke to had more interest in finishing work rather than the condition of my cat. It all seemed like a big problem for them. I then rang Summer Hill Vets Nenagh and the service and helpful manner of the people there is strikingly different to this practice. It was no problem getting an appointment for my cat on New Year's Eve in Summer Hill Vets. Needless to say I won't be contacting this practice again. Disgraceful. Dear unnamed responder to my review: To correct you: there was no problem getting a previous history for my elderly cat. I was given the appointment when I queried whether or not a vet can turn away an emergency case, which under the Veterinary Practice Act, it's illegal to do so, previous history or not !! The issue was with your staff members attitude to new clients. She needs some training. My cat and I were treated with the utmost professionalism at Summer Hill Vets today without my cat's history which was not an issue in booking an appointment even on New Year's Eve. Professionalism and actual care for animals and clients, new or not, wins out in the end. You lost a potential client and business

I felt informed and confident after discussion. They offered as much time as I needed and reassurance that if I had any questions the door is always open. Fantastic experience: So even though it was one of the saddest times in my memory, all the girls in Country Practice were excellent with both us and our beloved dogs, I will always be grateful to Sarah for allowing me have those extra few weeks with my boy Harry and even when the dreaded day arrived Caroline and Rachel allowed us to keep our boy in the car and he was never stressed or worried. It was the same last yr when we had to make the call on the other pooch, they will do everything and anything to ensure your pet gets the best help and even when the hard decision needs to be made they will be treated so nicely that there is no stress on the animal what so ever. Fantastic experience: This vetenary surgery looks after my daughter's kittens. We found an injured hedgehog on the road recently and telephoned the surgery, they agreed to look at the hedgehog which sadly could not be saved. They made sure the little creature did not suffer further pain and put it down. They refused any payment for their efforts. Would highly recommend them.

Fantastic experience: My little dog got hit by a car and within 20 minutes Caroline the vet had him seen within 20 minutes after the accident, out of hours. She was extremely caring with Cooper and a very nice genuine person to have dealt with. She hadn't seen Cooper in 2 years and knew him. With his aftercare all the staff I met were so good to me and Cooper. They are very thorough friendly and genuinely caring, and with the covid restrictions they are very strict, which put my mind at ease also.
