Positive experience: Very helpful as usual

Fantastic experience: We were holidaying near Manorhamilton when our dog became suddenly ill. Mark was the first vet to answer the phone and we were with him in about 15 minutes. Because of lockdown rules, we did not go into the surgery but Mark came out to meet us at the car. He was reassuring, calm and empathetic. She was in for a night with him before we transferred her to Belfast so we could be closer to home. He kept us regularly updated by text and was very helpful in arranging the transfer. We got a better service with him than we did with the large "state of the art" animal hospital that she was transferred to. We stay in Manorhamilton regularly and would not hesitate to use Mark again if one of our dogs becomes unwell. Thank you to Mark for taking such good care of Mookie. I have no doubt that his early intervention made a huge difference.

Fantastic experience: Very good on diagnosing, stitchwork is superp. If you wish to avoid scars, Mark is your man. Really kind to animals and their sometimes distressed owners. Can highly highly recommend. They treated all my dogs ,geese, hens, and our cat.

Fantastic experience: We recently had the misfortune of losing our family cat quite suddenly. We called Mark Slattery's surgery as it was the closest 24 hour vet to us and got in touch with Claire. She was gave us very helpful and straightforward advice over the phone and we decided to take the cat into the surgery. When we arrived, Claire was thorough and capable in her examination and very immediately did her best to ease our cat's pain. Claire, you are a credit to your profession and a wonderful human being. You made a horrible situation bearable and we are all extremely grateful to you. While we regret not being with our beloved cat when she passed, we're glad her last hours were spent with someone so kind. Thank you.

Positive experience: Mark is an excellent Vet and has a way with both animals and people. He has an empathy for his patients that is often lacking in his profession. The same can be said for Clare who works there too. The missing star is only due to the current premises but I would not go anywhere else now with my dogs.
