Fantastic experience: a very special thank you to tullamore pet hospital. They went above and beyond with my dog Jake. Highly recommend going there

Negative experience: i can say they are very professional in fact two days ago i needed them for my little maltese dog who had an infection!Unfortunately, today that we went to the clinic, I have to add that there is not the same treatment as before, the doctors, both male and female, have changed.

Fantastic experience: I couldn’t speak highly enough of the Tullamore Pet Hospital,from reception the nurses and the vets,And a very special thank you to Sarah truly could be a lady saint to all animals.Before Christmas when I thought my little dog Cindy was lost Sarah gave me me back a very valuable couple weeks leaving me and Cindy and my brother Con that we enjoyed Christmas and new year,Sadly on the 21st of January Cindy passed away from a irreversible heart disease, even in her final moments Sarah went above and beyond to make Little Cindy as comfortable as possible.From the top of my heart to the bottom I can’t you enough Sarah,and to Jennifer for her kind words on fatal evening,again i can’t thank all at the pet hospital enough. For anyone out there with a sick animal Feel assured they will be well looked after at the Tullamore Pet Hospital.

Fantastic experience: I honestly cannot recommend this team enough. Everyone of the team has been amazing in helping my little bulldog. She has recently had a really bad run of health that needed two operations. The aftercare from this team has been nothing short of amazing. Racing to the vets with a poorly dog is horrific. Being met by a team who genuinely care and are so, so capable is an absolute blessing. My little lady is currently gently snoring curled up next to me and that’s something I wasn’t sure would happen a few days ago.

His support meant everything to us over the years. We also want to give a special shout-out to the amazing girls on reception – Evelyn, Courtney, and the rest of the team. They were always welcoming, friendly, and incredibly helpful. From booking appointments to offering a kind word or a smile, they made every visit feel that little bit easier. Thank you all for looking after Baby like she was one of your own. We’re so grateful for everything you’ve done for our family over the past 12 years.

Fantastic experience: I have been bringing my dogs to Tullamore Pet Hospital for 15 years and they have looked after my rescues like they were their own dogs. Their kindness and patience with both humans and animals is exceptional and the level of clinical care the animals receive is second to none. Consultations never feel rushed and they always listen to any concerns you may have. Absolutely the best level of care you could ask for, from reception to the nursing staff to the vets, everyone greets you with a smile and their gentleness puts the animals at immediate ease. If your pet needs to stay in for a procedure you will be kept so well informed and the follow up care and phone calls to check on their progress is so reassuring. I really couldn’t recommend Tullamore Pet Hospital highly enough.

Fantastic experience: Very good vets, excellent and very helpful staff.

Positive experience: They were very kind to me after I lost my beloved cat last year after a terrible experience at the other vet practice in Tullamore. However, I'm disappointed to hear from them that they won't accept vouchers for neutering from the local charity. They wouldn't even honour a voucher that I had that was going out of date. All we're trying to do is help the local cats to live a good life, but it seems greed is more important here. That's me finished with vets in Tullamore.

Fantastic experience: I have been to Tullamore Pet Hospital on multiple visits for my cat Bean who has FIC. Thanks to the care,compassion and patience of vet Sarah and the receptionists, Bean is happy once again, we’re able to manage his condition and know what to watch out for. If I had gone to a different veterinary practice I couldn’t say confidently Bean would’ve had the correct diagnosis or treatment.

Fantastic experience: Just had a great visit at The Pet Hospital. The vet checked my cat thoroughly and answered all my questions. Would definitely recommend. They have moved premises and are now located on Arden Road. Update 2022: As always, such superb service from The Pet Hospital. All their staff are so friendly, caring, and compassionate. Took my doggo for a dental cleaning and they were so thorough in their explanations and after care procedure. Highly recommend Derek and his wonderful team. Well done all! Update 2024: Just came back from my cat's dental and the team were superb as always. My cat is 12 so she's an older lady and they made sure to keep her a bit longer for fluids after the anesthesia. The doctor explained all the post-op care very clearly. She wasn't doing too well the day after her dental and they slotted me in right away to see a doctor. So happy with this veterinary practice.

Fantastic experience: We Cannot thank Caitlin enough for everything she has done over the years for our beautiful yorky Precious. Unfortunately we had to put our dog to sleep on Saturday after 21 years which was absolutely heartbreaking. I cannot thank Caitlin and the Secretery for the patience & kindness shown to me and my daughter on Saturday. They organised for us to have our dog cremated and all and I could see they were upset themselves as they were very fond of Precious. She was one of their oldest serviving dogs to attend there vets. Fantastic experience: Really happy with how my dogs are treated at the pet hospital. I usually go to see Caitlin and she's a great vet, gives you options and I like that we start at the least intervention needed and go from there. Derek done 3 of their spays and there was no issues and they got great aftercare. Concerns that you have are listened to without judgement. Don't hesitate to bring your pets here, they are all great vets. Can't also forget the reception staff Evelyn and Deirdre, friendly and knowledgeable.

Fantastic experience: Amazing place, this pet hospital along with all the staff were amazing to our dog Milly throughout her life and gave her the most amazing treatment unfortunately we lost her last week, but the staff were absolutely amazing especially Dr. Sarah, she is an angel in disguise and did everything right by Milly even up to her last few minutes, thank you all for the amazing work you do and did for us and our precious family dog Milly. Your staff and team are so compassionate and you did everything for Milly, we can't thank you enough.

Fantastic experience: Derek and his team have looked after all my fur babies for the last 8 + years and I cannot recommend them highly enough. The team are extremely caring, compassionate and they always put the welfare of the animal first. My babies are extremely special to me, and they deserve the best care available. Tullamore Pet Hospital provides an incredible service and support in which both myself, family and friends have never experienced at any other veterinarian clinic before. Fantastic experience: Could not recommend Derek and his team enough! Derek, Caitlín and the rest of the team assisted us over several months with moving our dog, Lady to Australia and they made the whole process completely stress free. After over 10 months of processes, we finally collected Lady from quarantine today. We did not encounter a single issue during her move and this was completely down to Derek and his amazing team.

Fantastic experience: Had to have my little Yorkie put to sleep this week after he contacted an incurable brain infection, Brought him to Tullamore pet hospital and have to say i never thought i would say this but Teddy was in the hands of a true professional who felt our pain of having to put Ted to sleep, it was as though it was his own dog, got paw prints and a lock of hair for us which we would not have thought of until it was too late, Highly recommend Tullamore pet hospital for all your pets needs. Fantastic experience: They are the nicest vets I've seen we've been a few times today the most recent the 3 dogs got a hold of stuff they shouldn't have and we were in an emergency situation. Sarah did a great job and our puppy absolutely loves her.

Recently, Derek opened for me on a bank holiday Monday to see Snowy my cat who was very ill. Thanks to him Snowy is on the mend. The aftercare is also excellent. Fantastic experience: Derek is the best vet I've ever been to! He not only devoted a lot of time to our little puppy with her eye issues, he went the extra mile by doing tests to see if she had dry eyes. We had already been to vets previously about her eye issues and they weren't as thorough as Derek was. He also gave me some great tips on how to treat it using the ointment he gave me, taught me how to apply it to our puppy's eye, and scheduled a follow-up to see how she's doing. The surrounding area is also lovely to walk your dog if he / she is a bit nervous! The practice was very clean and they really had all the social distancing measures in place by asking us to stay in our cars until called. Excellent practice, what a lovely man and he clearly loves his job!

Rhea has been seeing Derek and the girls for many years and they are always on the ball, they treat her fantastically well, figure her issues quick sharp and her treatments are always so effective. Even during Lockdown Rhea needed a couple of visits and nothing was too much for The Pet Hospital. No better place to take your Pets. I couldn't not do this review of our experience. Fantastic experience: We have been going to Derek & his team for over 10 years,with our two dogs & the numerous stray cats we have taken in. They're brilliant at their job,care & attend each animal with much love & attention & patience. So much so,that when a stray cat was knocked down in a RTA outside our house 2 weeks ago,vet sarah came & collected the cat & they treated him free of charge for 3 days,but sadly he didn't make it. These are the people I want looking after my animals ..the kind that give a severely damaged animal a chance of life. Well done guys

Fantastic experience: My gratitude to the staff at Tullamore Pet Hospital. Recently, and before their Christmas break they showed kindness and concern by remaining open beyond the scheduled closing time to assist me in having my pet cat seen to. It was the last day before the closure before Christmas. A gesture I greatly appreciated. Sadly my pet was severely ill and I had to make a call that no pet owner likes to ever have to make.. Despite the unwanted outcome, the care and dedication displayed by Derek and staff is deserving of praise and gratitude. Very professional and caring.

They treat each pet as if it is their own. We trust doctor Derek and Carol Ann and the whole team since they saved our Bonnie more than once. Over the years, our dog has undergone numerous treatments and surgeries all of which have been done excellently. They are ready to help your pet at any time and to advise and reassure you. Every animal that crosses his doors are treated with the upmost love, care & respect, coupled with a professional attitude, and unequalled knowledge. Fantastic experience: The best vet by far, waiting times can be a bit long but that's a small price to pay for the quality of treatment and love for what they do. I would not bring my dogs anywhere else.

Fantastic experience: Had to get stitches out recently for a pup ...nice friendly staff. Waiting room is busy . Vet was sound ,and never charged for taking out stitches. Would highly recommend a visit if you looking for a genuine caring vet .

Fantastic experience: The pet hospital has to be the best vet in ireland. I travel nearly 20 miles to use this vet as i would not trust my pets with anyone else. Derick is not only a brilliant vet hes also a lovely man and the best thing about him is that he loves the animals and is not just in it for the money as a lot of vets are. Also his vet nurses are the best ive ever met.
