Fantastic experience: I cannot recommend this vets enough for looking after my bulldog puppy. We travel from Dublin to Wexford, David was absolutely fantastic — knowledgeable, gentle, and so reassuring. He took the time to explain everything clearly and made us feel completely at ease. Lovely atmosphere and the girls Sharon and Sophie on reception are so professional and friendly ! — we feel very lucky to have found them, they go above and beyond. Highly recommend 10/10 experience

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend Arena Vets, they gave us a last minute appointment for our golden retriever who isn’t even a client of theirs which ended up in an emergency surgery which saved her life. Sophie on reception and all of the vets that were on duty were nothing short of amazing and I cannot thank them enough for their quick and helpful service. You’ve gained a new customer!

Negative experience: I always had faith in this vets when you pay big money every time and you put your faith in these and they treat your dog for pneumonia in July October and December when I brought my best friend into them 16th of December the new one not very professional vet sent me home with tablets I counted the hours my dog got sicker 3.45 am I rang brambley and shea vets 4.15am she was seen they had no records for her after 11am records came through arena vets told them they couldn't hear her heart because of fluid on her lungs I rang them I asked about the medication they gave ? Not a Irish person that I was speaking to she said sure medication wouldn't work for 48 hours and my best friend died ....my dog never had pneumonia ...I lost my best friend but my dog was a number to yous its all about the money with arena vets a shot and health check 92 euro I would love to speak to to manager of this money pit all about there pockets not about our best friends

Fantastic experience: If you own a French bulldog, this is the vets for you, as you know frenchies come with a truck load of health problems, between Vet David and Vet Gemma ,I always have full confidence that our dog is receiving 5 star care and beyond. Honestly Arena vets is truly quality care. The Ladies on Reception are amazing, ever go to a place and be too nervous to speak to Reception, well these woman know how to make you feel comfortable and heard even before seeing the vets ,no question is a stupid question. If you truly love your family pet , this is the vets for you , your pet is genuinely in some of the best hands and hearts in wexford.

Fantastic experience: I changed to arena vets in the last few months my dog Thumbelina is 15.5 years old so she is constantly in the vets over last few months every time I need an appointment they always fit me in.The vets and receptionist are very friendly, welcoming and helpful. I joined their pet club and it has great savings so overall I am very happy with the care that is been given to Thumbelina

Fantastic experience: Sadly, our visit this week was to say a final goodbye to our much loved dog following a stroke. As heartbroken as we were, all the regular staff made our experience as good as it could be in the circumstances and we are hugely grateful for that. We have always found Arena vets helpful and understanding and you and your pet always get the 5 star treatment on every visit. Thank you everyone.

Negative experience: I’ve had a number of positive experiences with Arena in the past, the staff are lovely and I can’t fault them. The vets are helpful and able to give good advice. Today I left the practice feeling like I’ve been mugged. I brought my dog in for a consult and was advised she could do with a course of antibiotics and painkillers. Fair enough, who is going to deny their animal the treatment they need? €70-80 at most I thought to myself. I’ve got a pet plans so maybe that will give a percentage discount, take the edge off a bit. I could have collapsed when I saw the bill. €182. The discount was €6.50. I didn’t feel like I could deny my animal the course of antibiotics so I paid up, left and told my partner. We all know animal care can get expensive. I say this having to have paid over £4000 for specialist surgery for my Staffy. But I can’t help but feel the basic medical care has become grossly overpriced. I’ve since returned to my vet in Enniscorthy who charge €35 a consult and far more reasonable prices for antibiotics/painkillers. I liked Arena Vets, but the last time my staffy had this problem I paid under half of what I paid today…it’s a real shame.

Negative experience: Never had an issue with the service or getting an appointment etc, however, prices are gone insane. €65 consultation fee when other vets are charging €35. Paid a vet bill of €185 today for a quick consultation, some painkillers and antibiotics. This included a “discount” we’re meant to receive for being on a MONTHLY plan that costs €38 for two dogs? Shop around for sure, we’re switching back to our vets in Enniscorthy. How on Earth is the average person meant to be able to afford that vet bill? So we’ve basically paid Arena €223 this month with the plan and the ONE vet visit. Insane.

Fantastic experience: I can't recommend this vets highly enough. The staff are so friendly and always keep you updated. The care and compassion they have shown my family and pets over the years is above and beyond anything we have ever experienced anywhere else.

Negative experience: I've taken a small newborn cat to save, they didn't want to do anything. She was not peeing, suffering. She died in the same day and now I am very bad. I will never forget this forever. It caused a big impact in my life.

Fantastic experience: It been our yearly check up - it was back to Arena Vet's - on arrival I noticed the major work on the drive in - the main building - the car parking - the lovely bench seats to sit on - the bowls of water around the area - the interior was lovely and clean and well laid out - now we get to the most important things - the staff - the Heart of any business - they were the most lovely people that you could hope to meet - kind - gentle - considered - Marley ( my dog ) is a special lad - afraid of anything and I mean everything - so it is nice to know that everyone in Arena has the time and the kindness in looking after him - on our visit the lady vet ( sorry I have forgotten her name - comes with age ) came out to us and gave him his Jabs in the car - as not too stress him out - she was able to calm him down and do her checks - she was lovely - calming - kind - gentle - and spoke to Marley as she was doing so - now the big Question - would I be back - well I think that I have already answered that - but yes - of course we will

Fantastic experience: I can't say enough about the kindness, respect and compassion shown to us by Chris and all the staff at Arena Vet. Our beloved pet went to sleep, it was heartbreaking and we are devastated. Chris and the team made a tough situation and decision a little more bearable. I will never go to another vet. There is genuine care and love for animals and a respect for how much they mean to people and are part of the family.

Fantastic experience: Very happy with the expert care given to my dog, Daisy following cruciate ligament surgery. Although not fully recovered yet 6 weeks post op, Chris was happy to see Daisy on 3 visits post op which were included in the overall surgery cost. Very personal care shown by all the team especially Sophie whenever I've had to visit. Great veterinary practice, if I lived closer I would strongly consider moving to them.

Fantastic experience: Cian is such a lovely caring vet, he looked after my beautiful huge tom cat Barney who's sadly passed away aged 15yrs and now he's taking care of my new addition a tabby boy kitten, he instills such confidence in the pet and the owner, that's the reason I'm back at Arena Vets, great job thanks Cian. Staff always very friendly on arrival and will go the extra mile to help. Parking is very good and very good opening hours and Emergency service.

Negative experience: Very very expensive compared to other local veterinary services. Not particularly professional, rather unclean premises. Would question whether animal welfare or financial profit was their priority?! Friendly enough but wouldn't recommend. Far better vets within Wexford area.

Fantastic experience: Cian at Arena Vets looked after my 8 year old cavalier who had broken a tooth and needed an extraction. His situation was complicated by having a heart murmur. He was beautifully looked after and has fully recovered. He thanked Cian with some links before he left. Excellent service and great rapport with myself & my dog.

Fantastic experience: I think they are the best in Wexford. Unfortunately we recently were there a lot, cos all our pets were sick. 1 dog and 2 kittens. The staffs are amazing. They all looked after our " babies" like they were the owners of them. They give fully attention of all pets and they are doing 110% for all of them. We are really happy to have them.

Fantastic experience: If ever anyone wants a recommendation for cruciate ligament injuries, well here it is! Chris and his team do amazing procedures to enable your dog to walk perfectly normal after injuries. It's about listening to Chris's careful advice and following up with the aftercare, tedious as it it, it's so worth it!! From not being able to walk more than a few metres, my large breed dog can now walk kilometres with no issues. Wonderful to see such skill give hope. Thank you Chris and team!

Fantastic experience: Excellent. We are lucky to have Arena so close to us. They are everything and more that you would expect from a top class professional general veterinary practice. Gemma has been fantastic with our dog's specialist treatment, finding the resources needed for his particular illness (Westie Lung Disease).

Fantastic experience: Arena were great when our family dog passed away at the end of Summer '21. Cian was amazing with us and I felt he handled the situation with honesty and consideration for both ourselves and our dog Duke. I have since gotten two pups and Cian has been an amazing vet. He has a real love for animals which is clear to see and he's always fabulous to deal with. Arena are lucky to have him on the team, I can't recommend him enough! Thanks for everything Cian, Shadow and Ozzy are lucky to have such a diligent vet looking out for them. I would also like to give the girls at reception a mention as they are always lovely to deal with too.
