Fantastic experience: We have being going to Emma’s Happy & Healthy vet since we have had our Rottweiler Adira 6yrs a go . We have moved home since but we still chose to stay with Happy & Healthy despite the distance as we wouldn’t trust another other vet with Adira . The staff have treated ourselves so well but more importantly Emma and all the staff have treated Adira with so much genuine care and respect. ❤️ if I could give over 5 stars I would

Fantastic experience: I cannot recommend this clinic highly enough.I have had the pleasure of attending Emma and her colleagues over the last 16 years.They are thoroughly professional in everything they do.I have had a very nervous dog who wouldn’t get out of the car and a dog who thought they were a celebrity and owned the place,pass through their expert and loving care and at all times the care was catered toward the specific dog character which made it so much easier as an owner.The range of services is exemplary from surgery,ultrasounds,X-rays to bloods etc.The clinic is warm,welcoming and really unique in the way that it streamlines dogs and cats to different waiting rooms.The girls in the office are great fun and always prompt to reply to emails and texts on the app.My current dog doesn’t know how lucky he has it to be in Emma and Niamh’s care. One thing I really feel is special is their end of life care.They will come to your house and help your friend along the road to Rainbow Bridge.This is hugely comforting as a dog mom,I have to say it was a very beautiful experience whilst also being very sad.Thank you for helping my doggies pass and for keeping my present one on the road.This is the place to go!

Fantastic experience: I've been using Emma Plant to look after my 2 huskies and my cat for t years. She and her colleagues are always professional and explain my options clearly. All of the support staff there are great too. Update a year later. Still very happy with Emma and her team. They helped us through the sad loss of one Husky and gave great advice when I unexpectedly hosted 6 kittens.

Fantastic experience: All the vets and staff at this practice are wonderful and were so gentle and considerate towards my cat. They gave her excellent care and saved her life when she was very poorly. They gave her emergency care over a holiday weekend even though I wasn’t registered with the practice. They also followed up by phone to check on her progress. I love the fact that they have a separate waiting room for cats. I highly recommend Emma and her team.

Fantastic experience: Such a pet centered veterinary practice. Jade the Labrador had damaged her dew claw, lots of blood! When we arrived they were all ready for Jade, knowing without having been told again that she is a little skittish and suspicious even without a poorly paw. The veterinary nurse brought in a bowl of treats and engaged her with those and then when Emma the vet came in she had peanut butter on her fingers, was very calm, avoided eye contact, and Jade was won! One bandaged paw and injection later, Jade left full of treats and almost cheerful. The bandage is off now and she is completely better, just finishing her antibiotics.

Fantastic experience: I rang on short notice and was fitted in the same day by Donna, Niamh was so amazing with Sydney as she’s a very nervous dog around new people and especially men so she had to take over from Brendan, I think I got name right. He tried his best but Sydney was having none of him so apologies for that.

Fantastic experience: After an accident i tried my own vet and 2 others and none would see bobo when i contacted emma plants clinic i was told to come straight away. We sadly lost bobo but the care they gave bobo and how lovely everyone was through it all i will never forget.

Fantastic experience: On Sunday my dog Leo got a bad bite from another dog while out walking I rang Emma Plant surgery thinking I would get a voice message instead a lovely pleasant girl answered the phone and told me Vet Sean was on duty she organised that I could go into surgery straight away I explained that Leo is a bit bold and not easy to deal with at times !! When I got there Sean met me with treats etc. He was a lovely young vet really chatty, kind and sympathetic. He looked after Leo very well and Leo is doing very well in recovery. Thank you

Fantastic experience: Our dog Millie was having a spay procedure last week. Emma saw her the week before her op, then I received emails with pre and post surgery guidelines. Millie was in and home by 4pm. We spoke to the girls the following morning to let them know how she was and on the Friday. She had her check up Saturday and is well on the recovery path now. Couldn't recommend Emma Plant Veterinary highly enough.

Fantastic experience: Can't recommend Emma Plant's clinic enough. All staff are amazing. My dog Buddy was unwell they saw him within a few hours they did a thorough examination and blood tests. They found the problem and gave him medication. He wasn’t any better next morning so they saw him again and changed the medication. Next morning he was back to himself. Thank you Emma and your team.

Fantastic experience: Pebbles is an 18 year old toy poodle who has visited Emma Plants veterinary clinic on numerous occasions.He has recently visited for an anal gland expression. As always the staff at Emma’s have been exceptional in dealing with him in a kind and professional manner. I cannot recommend them highly enough. Pebbles is now recovering well on antibiotics and receiving plenty of TLC.

My beloved cat was killed and they came in on a Sunday to take him in to be cremated, Emma was really understanding and sympathetic when I came in as I was very upset. Ruth then gave me a call in the following days to see how I was doing, then today I received a handwritten card sympathising on the loss which was so thoughtful and kind. They really go above and beyond to take care of their clients , humans and animals, they truly care for both and are such lovely people. I would highly recommend Emma Plant and her staff.

Negative experience: My cat limped on Saturday, and I waited for the vet to open. In the meantime, he started walking okay, but I decided to take him to make sure everything was fine. When we arrived, they "trimmed" his fur, revealing that he was injured or bitten. While removing the fur, they unintentionally took some skin, causing significant bleeding. The vet attempted to clean the wound, but couldn't sedate him as they didn't know when he last ate. I suggested a bandage, but they said it wasn't recommended until we got home. The cage got soaked in blood on the way back. They gave me some pills, and I ended up paying 123 euros. It's not about the money, but I left with my cat in a worse condition than when I arrived.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been using Emma plants veterinary clinic for approximately 5 years now Emma has treated hamsters bunny’s and dogs for us , Emma herself is all about the animals the care and compassion she takes and gives is undoubtedly the the best in Longford if not the country Very knowledgeable professional kind caring and compassionate We unfortunately had to put two dogs down (molly & jimmy ) over the period of a year due to age and in a terrible situation Emma made it so much easier The whole team at Emma plants is extremely knowledgeable The building and facility are fantastic clean and modern myself my wife and our 2 kids would highly recommended to any and everyone with any kind of animal

Fantastic experience: Best vet ever as far as I'm concerned. All the staff are amazing and really to care about tge pets and their owners.

Positive experience: Great service, can be very pricey if you try to get the emergency appointment on a Sunday. €150 paid upfront before you even get the appointment. The visit cost me close to €500 but got all the tests needed within 10 minutes and by the time we left the place the dog felt and looked much better. Thanks for the help
