Fantastic experience: Hi, my husky was not in the best place. He had trouble walking, moving from a seated position to standing was almost impossible without his pain being evident. We talked to the vet and informed them of the situation. To our surprise they showed up at the house to see our husky... We'd already been with Tir na Bho for a few weeks and didn't expect them to make house visits! They were so gentle, informed and explained what could be wrong. They gave my husky the necessary meds and explained the next steps to keep my husky comfortable and hopefully get him back to his former self... I can not praise them enough for helping my husky and always make a point of telling others who need a vet that thinks of the pet and not how much money they can drain from you..!

I was very impressed with everything from the booking to the treatment & procedure and then the aftercare. Vicky was very helpful too explaining everything Ciara had done and what to do when we got home . Excellent veterinary services. Thanks a million.

Positive experience: My pets are not at this clinic but I got the recommendation from my aunt. My 12/near 13yr old was coughing and bringing up froth and the lady that I spoke with was so helpful and reassured me that it wasn't an emergency and explained exactly what could be happening because she has a heart murmur. So I will be ringing our vet first thing in the morning to get her checked, but thank you so much for being so kind and reassuring.

Fantastic experience: I am really not the type of person to ever leave a review but I thought it would be rude not to. I recently brought my pet Luna here for the first time and I was blown away with how accommodating, friendly and professional the staff were throughout. I rang up on a Thursday looking for a urgent appointment. I was informed Thursday's were scheduled for surgery's and they were too busy, so I begged that someone could take a look as my dog was in a lot of pain and barely moving which is very unlike her. I got passed onto Nurse Vicky and she told me to drop her in and leave her with us and they would do their best to squeeze Luna in at some stage.True to her word I received phonecall back about four hours later and the issue was solved + a few meds supplied. When my partner came to collect the dog later that day she was told to hang on a minute as one of the girls was walking Luna around the estate which shows the level of care taken. I will be back for sure

Fantastic experience: I can't speak highly enough of this practice. I was on a short break in Dunmore East away from home. My dog had surgery 10 days prior, and I was very concerned about his wound. They were the first veterinary practice I phoned. It was just before their closing time so an emergency/last minute appointment. They were so accommodating and told me to pop in straightaway. They looked after Aldo so well, removed his stitches, checked the wound, gave Aldo an anti-inflammatory jab and sent us off with an ointment to apply. I was so relieved to have professional reassurance, the staff were so kind considering it was closing time when I made it to the practice. It was obvious their priority was my dog and the animals in their care. Thanks you so so much for your kindness. F Murphy, Naas.

Fantastic experience: What can I say but amazing service. Called in a rush as my dog was very sick. Was seen with in a hour and half no waiting when got there. Straight in. Seen by the vet. Was assured from the start that she was going to do everting to help my dog. And she did !!! Call out to Racheal and the lady on reception and of course the vet.

Fantastic experience: The absolute best vet we've ever come across, and we've tried them all. Jim is an expert in his field and will explain everything in detail, such an interesting person to listen to and learn from. Over the years I have spoken to Jim numerous times about general dog health and emergencies. He saved our dogs life and also helped her get the best out of her last few years as she aged with medications etc. He will make contact with you to give updates and he'll take a call even on his time off. He doesn't just care about the animals well being he's sensitive to their owners. Rachel complements the team perfectly, our dog had an emergency surgery and when we came back to pick her up, Rachel was literally lying down on the ground comforting our dog. Staff are always so friendly and great with kids when they come in. Just got a new puppy and we're looking forward to dealing with the team again.

Fantastic experience: They care for my Golden Retriever for 3 years now and she is a happy and healthy dog. Very easy to get an appointment and they always make a complete check up on my dog whenever we go there.

He cares about his patients not all about money like some vets. Jim phoned me to keep me up date about my poor Nova and did his upmost best to save him but unfortunately it wasn't meant to be I highly highly recommend Jim, Rachel and Hannah at Tír Na Bhó vets. Fantastic experience: I had a bit of an emergency and had to ring at 11.30 at night, I didnt really expect an answer but I got one 10/10 for that.. The following morning I had my dog there when the surgery opened and the girls couldn't have been nicer, thankfully my dog buddy seems to be on the mend now And it's all thanks to these lovely people

Came to our house to see our cat at short notice when no other vetinary practice would and told us to call back to let him know how she is getting on. Very lucky to have a place like this in Waterford. I will be bringing my dog here in future

Fantastic experience: This place is just amazing, I have only been with this vet for just 2 months, I had an older dog Jesse golden retriever, her health wasn't great, she passed away on 30th March. I called James who replied straight away and put me over to ciara/kiera she asked us to meet her at the surgery. She came into the back of our car and just made jesse so comfortable before she passed, she went above and beyond, was fantastic from Start to finish. Fantastic experience: Absolutely amazing people thanks to Jim and his staff they were amazing when I rang in a panic over my dog Lexi Jim was getting ready to leave the clinic and he told me to come out straight away he gave up his time to not only take care of my dog but operate on her there and then I was so lucky to receive the kindness and empathy that this man showed towards me and my dog I will be forever grateful so if ur looking for a vet for your animals this is the place to go would highly recommend these guys.

Fantastic experience: I have been with different vets over the years and stumbled across Jim on a visit to a farm....his patience both with the animals and me is endless....Will see you anytime in an emergency and will also do a house call...he made a very difficult passing of my lab a few years ago very easy...his kindness and gentleness knows no bounds....he looks after my 2 red setters now one who has a serious bowel condition and he brings her round every time....I can safely say that she loves visiting Jim... The staff behind the scenes are lovely and I always have a laugh and a joke with them and the customary few sweets.....keep up the amazing work everyone ❤️

Fantastic experience: I cannot recommend this vets enough. Most caring vet I have ever met . Rang him in an emergency situation at 9pm of a Saturday night after been turned away from other vets. Jim seen my dog babs straight away with no hesitation even though he had been in the clinic since 6am that morning. Very gentle vet who cares about the well being of the animal more than the money. Very reasonably priced also.

Fantastic experience: Great veterinary clinic. I was looking for emergency appointment for my cat. I rang the clinic and my cat was seen in less than1 hour. Dr spent 1hour with my cat, he explained everything, diagnosed my cat right and treatment was effective. Finally I found a very professional vet doctor.
