Fantastic experience: Extremely kind to me and helpful. My own Vets refused to call down when my female 18yr old dog, Tori had a fit and couldn't use her back legs, they knew I was in a wheelchair and said they didnt do call outs, when their web page said they did. Anyway, Miriam from Viking spoke with me on the phone and even though I wasn't a client, asked me to send her on videos of tori trying to walk, she calmed me down and told me what to do for pain. She saw her first thing even before her surgeries and reckoned she was such a passive gentle dog that she would change up her meds drastically and do bloods. She really wasn't impressed with my vet. Bloods came back and she waited a few days to see how tori was coping on her new meds. So now we will bring in a urine sample which she will look at with her bloods and then we will take it from there. She treated tori with kindness and love and no matter what the outcome will be at least I know because of Miriam and Viking Vets that we did everything we we could for tori. Thanks Miriam we.

Fantastic experience: Rang Viking Vets this morning in a flap as my 10 year old collie had sliced her paw pad open off a loose patio tile, I was advised to take her in straight away. An absolute lady and fantastic vet Vanessa took her in straight away, listened, cared and explained. All risks and procedures were made known and she was taken into surgery straight away to stitch up the paw, Vanessa called me as soon surgery was finished. Came to pick her up the same day. Very reasonable and fair price for convenience and everything involved. Everyone there are really lovely. Thank you!

Fantastic experience: I had to bring my cat to Viking Vets after a very unfortunate accident. The wound was in a difficult location, badly infected, and she had a fever. She ended up needing two surgeries due to unexpected complications. It was a long and stressful journey, but thanks to the amazing team at the clinic, she’s now fully recovered. The communication throughout was clear and reassuring. We received excellent aftercare and support with administering her medication. If you ever have any concerns about your furry friend, don’t hesitate—give them a call. They truly care and go above and beyond.

Fantastic experience: Thanks for the team ESPECIALLY MEL for saving my cat. He was hit by a car Saturday morning. Mel vas very calm , that helped me to calm down as well. They could stabilised him and operated on him on the next day Sunday!!!! I have him home now purring, on the way to full recovery.

Negative experience: I have a dog that needs sedation while being groomed & precious veterinary grooming service closed so I booked Viking though it was 40 mins from where I live. Dog was scheduled for 9am, to be collected at noon. I arrived 10 mins early to find dog had not been groomed and I wasn't informed. The explanation was unclear. I took the dog and left declining to make a new appointment as I was displeased at the unprofessional lack of communication. A later call from the practice said my 10 year old dog had a heart murmur & needed additional medication prior to sedation. This wasn't explained to me clearly. It was only a couple of months since the dog had a check up prior to annual vaccinations. I am understanding that the practice thought they were doing the right thing. However a visit to my long term (25+ years, very well known) vet the next day, prompted by this, said that my dog "categorically" did not a heart murmur. So I wasted half a day, the trips to & fro, received no contact while the dog was present, & had to get the dog rechecked. A waste of worry, stress, time & money. Would not recommend this practice.

Fantastic experience: Great for pets

Negative experience: I brought my dog to Viking vets, she was seen by the vet Xzavier, he gave her 2 injections one for pain and 1 anti sickness, her temp was low and her heartbeat was fast, she died in my arms within 2 hours of being at the vets. She wasn’t even 2 years old.

Negative experience: I Would not recommend this vets at all, we brought our 1 and half year old Chihuahua down who was getting sick told the vet all the symptoms she was having we knew she was very very sick, the vet proceeded to say she might be poisoned but gave her 2 injections one to slow her heart and one for sickness no scans no bloods nothing, we were then sent home and she died in less then 2 hours of coming home from the vet and all they had to say was sorry, these people care about taking you’re money not you’re pets.

Fantastic experience: Dr Xavier was super helpful and let me bring the giant dog I was minding in the back door instead of passing all the wee dogs in the waiting room. The doctor was really great with the dog and was able to quickly diagnose his issue, figure the proper dosage, write out the directions for me, and he even had the pills in the exam room so we didn’t wait long at all. Thanks to the whole team!

Fantastic experience: Couldn't fault the viking. Our first puppy so i wanted to make sure everything she was doing good and got her vaccination and wormed and all over check up. My sister recommended the viking veterinary clinic. They were so easy to talk to on the phone and so nice and great to deal with. Our lulu is doing great and im so happy to continue with the viking.

Negative experience: Agree with other review about the receptionist! Vets are lovely but unfortunately won't be back as hard to deal with her. Had to go to another vet for urgent care as couldn't get same day app even though rang back to say my dog was worse!

Negative experience: The vets have done good work on my dog in the past but the receptionist has a very poor attitude and is unpleasant to deal with. Finding another vet.
