Negative experience: Not recommended at all. I was unable to register my dog because they were too busy. Communication is very poor. If they really want to be a top business, they need to learn how to deal with clients in a proper manner.

Fantastic experience: I can't thank this veterinary clinic enough for the compassion and care they showed during one of the hardest moments of my life. After my regular vet let me down last minute, I was left scrambling to find someone who could help me say goodbye to my beloved dog with dignity and peace. From the moment I called, the staff were incredibly understanding, kind, and professional. They made space for us at the very last minute and treated both me and my dog with such warmth and respect. It was clear they genuinely care about the animals and the people who love them. The vet was gentle, patient, and explained everything with compassion. They made sure my dog was comfortable and at ease, and they gave me the time I needed to say goodbye. I'll always be grateful for how they helped us through such a heartbreaking experience with grace and empathy. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this clinic to anyone needing thoughtful, humane care for their pet, especially when it matters most.

Fantastic experience: Very happy with my experience for my senior cat, Kalunda. All the vets and reception staff were professionable and knowledgable about Kalunda´s condition. Everyone is kind, friendly and show sincere interest and empathy to our ´fur babies´. An added bonus is the ample private parking right outside the surgery. Would recommend AnCu Veterinary Clinic in a heartbeat!

Fantastic experience: The Vet, Brian Jones, and his Associates, were always Very good when I went to the Veterinary Clinic in the town, but I haven't been over to the one in Blackrock, as I have no transport. When I had my Previous Beloved Old dog, Brian would Kindly call to my house, when he would give my Rusty his Annual Boosters, but when Rusty passed away, his Local Clinic had been Concentrated elsewhere, but if you live near any of those Ancu Clinics, I'd definitely recommend them.

Fantastic experience: We have been bringing our dogs to Brien roughly since 1988. We had to take our dog to a vet who checked her over, charged us but couldn't tell us what was wrong with her leg. We heard about Brien from a chap who raced greyhounds, we took her to Brien the next morning. He did exactly the same examination and it turned out she had torn ligaments and a dislocated shoulder, and Brien charged us less money. We wouldn't thrust any other vet with our dog's.

Negative experience: Don't know who the receptionist is or what had happened in her life the day I phoned but she was aggressive, rude, impolite and extremely unhelpful. As a result I will not be taking my beloved rescued greyhound there for treatment. Disgusting behaviour. There is only one star as its not possible to leave NO stars.

We had to attend the clinic every day for a week and during that time we witnessed first hand the amazing work you do and under such serious time pressure. A difficult job made to look easy by true professionals.

Negative experience: Called today based on good reviews on website and was looking forward to visiting. I Phoned and asked if I could get some advice for my puppy. I was asked if I was a client very sharply and when I asked if I had to be for advice and that I was considering becoming a client. I was told ..."I am not a vet so I dont know! I asked if there was someone who could offer advice and was then told she was a Nurse. Why didn't she say that at the start of the conversation. Based on this bad experience I would suggest front of house training for who ever answers the phone. First impressions count!
