Fantastic experience: We were treated with great professionalism and compassion both on our most recent visit and on previous visits.

Negative experience: My dog was in horrible condition, vomiting and peeing blood. I brought him her for treatment from a different vet, they hadn't checked their messages and declined us. We had asked for the medicine or for them to give him an IV but they still declined because we didn't have an appointment.

Negative experience: Used to be great vet - now … if you love your pet- take to some other vet…. Misdiagnosed pet serious condition, treated for secondary illness- useless treatment, then ordered more very expensive tests and again no treatment for current condition (THAT THEY CAUSED!!!!!) and in the end- hung up over the phone…. Very unprofessional, lack of experience vets….just will raise bill high as possible…. Now most likely will have to put down dear family member , absolutely heartbroken…. So no - DO NOT RECOMMEND, STAY AS FAR AS YOU CAN!!!! For bad review-if they find out who you are- they will contact you SEVERAL TIMES!!! That is SERIOUS PRIVACY BREACH!!!!

Negative experience: I have to say I’m very disappointed as I had an injured pigeon earlier that was hit by car so it was badly injured but the receptionist said they don’t deal with birds but this was a wild animal that was in distress but was refused treatment.

Fantastic experience: Left my dog in for a procedure on his eye. The staff from start to finish were incredible. Kept me well informed throughout and displayed a really genuine concern for the welfare of the dog. Extra credit to all the staff for managing him so well because I know he wouldn't have been the easiest patient to manage. Highly recommended.

Negative experience: I have nothing positive to say about this place whatsoever. I’ve made the mistake taking my animal here because every time I am met with rudeness and no compassion. My nanny brought her dog here 16 years ago, who had cancer, but was misdiagnosed so we didn’t even know his condition until we went to Healthy Vets. I figured their incompetence and standard for staff had changed since then but clearly not. Their staff clearly do not care for the animals and are only in it for the monetary aspects and I heavily recommend you take your animals to Healthy Vets because they actually know what they’re doing!

Positive experience: Was in today with a cat i found on the road. The staff was so kind and patient with me, i was heartbroken over the poor thing. Have to say was not impressed by the receptionist, had a very ignorant and unpleasant attitude.

Negative experience: Without a shadow of doubt the worst vets I have ever experienced. Zero compassion zero empathy. Misdiagnosed our dog . Was all about money with them. For any one who’s considering this place don’t. Different vet as well every few months that tells you all you need to know.

From the moment we brought him in as a puppy, we knew he was in good hands. Throughout the years, the staff was always attentive, knowledgeable, and compassionate. They took the time to answer our questions and made every visit as comfortable as possible for both our dog and us. We truly felt like part of the family. When it came time to say goodbye, Catarina handled the situation with such love and care. She made a difficult moment a little more bearable with her kindness and compassion. I will forever be grateful for the way she treated our dog in his final moments. Thank you Catarina & team for the years of dedication and support. You helped us provide the best life possible for our furry companion, and for that, we are eternally grateful.

Negative experience: Never again will I go here! A few years ago I brought my kitten. Arrogant male vet cut her nails too short and she bled, she tried to escape because pain and he flung her "we are not in a democracy here" and called her feral. Against better judgement I went back with my now pup 1 months ago. Totally overcharged for initial appointment. They said they left antibiotics for his ear for me to collect if needed if the drops they gave me didn't work. I came back the following week to collect the antibiotics and lo and behold! They wanted ANOTHER consultation (money grabbers!). I said hell no and went to a different vets. It's all about money for this vets.

Fantastic experience: Great service. Our dog Toast is getting on but Avenue Road Vets have done an amazing job in looking after her!

Negative experience: Went in at 5.20, 40 minutes before they close and the receptionist was cashing up getting ready to leave. Me and another woman where left waiting, I had my one year old in my arm while she did this. When she realised we wernt going to leave she had an attitude towards me and was frankly rude. I will continue to use this clinic because the vets and staff themselves are excellent.

Negative experience: My dog was been treated for Arthritis with to this place was getting all the checks done Bloods xray Ultrasound etc. My dog died last week with a Swollen admin. I will be looking into taking Legal action against this vet to stop this from happening to someone else the dog wasn't checked properly. We Repeatedly said that it wasn't arthritis there is something else but they insisted it was now my dog is dead because of this matter. The vet that treated my dog in his last few hour's of his life can not understand how they where treating him for Arthritis. My dog wasn't any normal dog he was a working dog that was very viable to me. And will be looking for answers for the wrong full action that was taken.

Fantastic experience: My Russian dwarf woke up with this this morning and I got the freight of my life and taught the worse, I took him straight up to the Avenue veterinary clinic and even though they weren't open to the public yet they took us straight in, the doctor had a look at him and thank god it wasn't to serious, it was a prolapsed food pouch, they removed it for him that day and took really good care of him and sent him home on antibiotics and made an appointment for a 2 day's time to check to see how he is doing. We where really happy with out visit.

Whenever I need vactination or consultation, there are no problems to arrange it on the same day or next day on time which is suitable for me. Never had to wait in que, when arriving to see the Vets. Fantastic experience: Our Romanian rescue dog needed her next 3 yearly rabies vaccination so, in order to keep her EU passport, I contacted Avenue Vets and asked if I could book an appointment. We were intending to travel from Lincolnshire as part of our study of family history in NI. I cannot speak highly enough of the practice. Their response was immediate, I was booked in for the date I requested and reminder emails sent nearer the time. The service I received was wonderful. What friendly, polite staff. Many thanks to all. Plus I ve first heard of Librela injection for my 13 years old dog with them. Best inovation for arthritis. Amazing results and I am delighted and relieved for my tiny girl to feel more at ease and more active. 100% recommend them

Negative experience: I have been taking My pets to this place and it's been good so far rang up few days ago my dog wasn't well I didn't have the money on me and the fella on the phone said well don't have a puppy if you can't afford it.. I was like I don't get paid till Friday and they couldn't do that one thing for me on that 1 Thursday morning so I said fair enough I'll go somewhere else I would of gave them full stars but no respect for there customers

Fantastic experience: Thank you to Ana Caterina for meeting me out of hours during a stressful time with my very ill cat. Explained everything clearly and was very kind to him when he had to stay in. Robert seemed more like a dog person the first time we brought our former wild cat in but the second time he was prepared with Feliway spray and was great to deal with.

Fantastic experience: I came home from town and found my Parrot Frankie on the floor of his cage he was breathing wrong and was so cold , I took him quickly to Avenue Veterinary Clinic, he was a very good boy , mostly ! the vet treated him and instructed me on meds to give him . This morning I came from bed half expecting to see him passed on , but i got a " Hello" from him , he's back to his old self, all chat . Thank you for everything , the staff and vets were amazing.

Fantastic experience: First visit after being recommended by a friend. From the initial phone call to make the appointment I found the receptionist staff to be extremely friendly and helpful. As we have only recently got our beautiful puppy I had lots of questions but Ricardo was great and offered lots of advice and tips. You can tell he is clearly passionate about his job and Louie was very at ease with him. Happy we made this choice!

Fantastic experience: I rang avenue vetinary clinic on Monday to ask would they take my dog on as a client. The receptionist was so lovely and very plesent taking all my details so i booked in for today. Catarina was the vet's name a lovely lady and treated my dog with such care. Catarina explained everything to me and advised me on any questions I asked I did not feel rushed atal and was very happy with the information she gave me. The receptionist today was also lovely and very friendly. I would highly recommend avenue vetinary clinic to everyone they are very professional and all were very caring to my dog. Fantastic experience: I can’t recommend Avenue Veterinary Clinic enough. All the staff are so caring and approachable yet very professional. They really know their stuff . We have been with them for about 20 years, we have two dogs one a 13 year old yorkie who has a lot of issues and only for these vets she wouldn’t be here today. They look after her like a baby- day or night. So it’s top marks and well deserved from the Craven family.
