Our comment from InfoVet about Animal Health Veterinary Clinic:
A Trusted Veterinary Partner with Compassionate Care
Animal Health Veterinary Clinic has established a strong reputation as a go-to practice for pet owners in Ireland, largely due to the long-standing dedication of Dr. Michael Cahill. Clients frequently describe him as an "ideal family vet" who combines professional expertise with genuine empathy. The recurring theme in customer feedback is his ability to listen carefully to concerns, provide thorough explanations, and treat every animal with deep compassion, even during difficult moments such as end-of-life care.
Exceptional Staff and Client Communication
Beyond the lead veterinarian, the clinic is praised for its friendly and efficient staff who consistently go the extra mile to support pet owners. Owners appreciate that the team keeps them well-informed throughout procedures, managing expectations clearly and ensuring they feel involved in their pet's care journey. This transparent and supportive communication style helps alleviate anxiety for many visitors.
Comprehensive Care and Professional Trust
The practice is highlighted for its high standards of veterinary medicine, including surgical procedures like neutering, where post-operative care and recovery guidance are handled with precision. Clients value the no-nonsense approach that prioritizes the animal's well-being without unnecessary upselling. With many long-term patients noting they have been visiting for years, the clinic stands out for its consistency, trustworthiness, and the strong bond it builds with both pets and their owners.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely best vet in town, a gentleman who always takes the time to keep you in the loop and has treated all my dogs with the absolute best of care.
Fantastic experience: Went to get my dog neutered yesterday, the clinic kept us informed of everything that will happen with the procedure. They said she might be a bit out of sorts for a few days. I was happily surprised to see she was up and about like her normal self the day after. This place was recommended to us and I Would highly recommend it aswell.
Fantastic experience: Michael is an excellent vet. Truley cares about the patient and owner. Listens to everything you have to say and goes through everything thoroughly. Most vets wont listen to what you have to say, give you tablets and that's it. Highly knowledgeable and trustworthy.
Fantastic experience: Vet Michael was and has been absolutely brilliant. We had to eventually put our beautiful Pixie down. Michael did it with so much compassion. A credit to his profession.
Fantastic experience: Michael I want you back :-( So sad the vet is closed for good. Not happy with Bridge house vet, they vaccinated my cats without my consent when i brought them in for neutering! And the chick on the phone is unfriendly as hell and even hangs up the phone on people!
Fantastic experience: I am so glad I followed my friends recommendation. Very warm welcome, professional service & genuinely caring for the wellbeing of your pet.
Fantastic experience: Michael is the best vet in town.
