Fantastic experience: Went in to get our dogs nails trimmed today and the vet was very down to earth and patient with our doggo She was kind to us and our lil pet and we will definitely be returning!

Fantastic experience: I had to make the heartbreaking decision to put my beloved dog, Beti to sleep, and I can't thank Paws A While enough for the care and compassion they showed during such a difficult time. The entire team was incredibly empathetic, patient, and supportive, ensuring that both Beti and I were as comfortable as possible. They handled everything with such kindness and professionalism, making an unbearable situation just a little bit easier. I am truly grateful for their dedication to providing care not just for the animals, but for their owners as well. Highly recommended.

Fantastic experience: Huge shoutout to the team in both Johnstown and Trim, my dog Bella had to get an emergency spay to treat pyometra and she is thriving despite having had such a big surgery at almost 11 years old. She clearly was treated very very well by everyone during her overnight stay as she has had no fear getting in the car since she's come home - surprising as usually she had only ever been in the car before to go to the vet!

Fantastic experience: We’ve been to many vets over the years with our two pets and Paws A While are the best We unfortunately had to say goodbye to our beautiful dog Mabel recently and Leanne and Paul were so kind and helpful in the lead up to say goodbye. I cannot sing the teams praises high enough. I felt like Mabel was in very safe hands right until the end. Our cat too has a couple of ongoing illnesses and again he’s in safe hands. The team really care about animals, they never push you into expensive treatments like other vets we’ve had in the past. I know you can’t put a price on your pets but Paws A While is very reasonably priced We had a lovely card posted to us after Mabel passed, was such a lovely touch. Thanks again to this wonderful team!

He had a few small other procedures and I was afraid of the total cost but they kept it really reasonable. They rang me as soon as he was awake to let me know all went well.

When we moved I was so worried I wouldn't find a vet as dedicated and as caring as our previous one. No need. Professionals who know what they are doing but they have the most important attribute - they CARE. I have been with them for happy and sad events now. They are always there for you.
