Fantastic experience: We've always brought our dogs to Duleek Vets who've shown nothing but genuine care and compassion for them and indeed ourselves when difficult decisions had to be made. A great service in the village.

Negative experience: We have been taking our dogs here for over 5 years as the vet is amazing in the last 3 visits and interactions we have had have been disgraceful with the lady at the front desk. Absolutely disgusting behaviour and extremely rude. We have ended up transferring. We are super disappointed and deeply upset over the interactions. As the woman was extremely awful to deal with and condescending.

Fantastic experience: I needed Ellie to be spayed and she was taken care of like it was Blackrock private clinic. They really do brilliant work here and treated her like she was their own ❤

Fantastic experience: Very easy going clinic, and will book you in ASAP for your pet to be seen, within reason. I've been taking Freya here for about a year or so, and she's always seen to and treated quite fast. Thank you!

Positive experience: The staff there are lovely and helpful and everything, but the vet, bless him, it's like he doesn't really get animals. We've brought our dog in a couple of times now, who never had a problem with our last vet - they always greeted him and interacted with him which put him at his ease, but not this vet! He hates the vet here, which, no wonder. There's no friendly interaction between vet and dog, the vet just goes straight in with whatever he's doing: needles, drops, whatever, blindsiding the dog, and now the poor dog panics any time we try and go near his eyes to clean them (which he has always let us do up until now). It's like the vet just doesn't get that dogs don't like being surprise stabbed with a needle, and then he reacts surprised and even frightened when the dog reacts, which like, what did you think would happen? Our dog never had this problem before. I think all of us just felt very uncomfortable and on edge at the appointments, and it's made our dog nervous with the vets, so now I've to try and undo the damage.

Fantastic experience: Having a puppy I'm in there every month atm. Overall nice staff, that is happy to answer any questions if everything goes smoothly. They were extremely helpful and went above and beyond to treat a cat that I brought for emergency treatment

Negative experience: Vanessa is DISGUSTING Not only is she rude but most importantly not suited 2 the job.. A lady dropped in a bird with a broken wing and I personally saw her throw it in the bin.. Over priced also and take advantage of the convenience

Negative experience: We couldn't afford the 80 euro consultation for our kittens, we called again to ask if they could budge on the price, considering the pandemic. We also asked for advice on what to do or where to go, and nothing. I'm presuming the receptionist was the same one mentioned in the other negative reviews below. They died this morning, their names were snap, crackle and Kevin. They'll be missed sorely. Again, it was an 80 euro consultation. Sickening.

Negative experience: Not very friendly in this practice. Secretary needs to welcome the customers a bit better, she made me feel very unwelcome. I brought my dog here with a gum infection and they didn't do anything about it. Went to a different vet and it they said she needed teeth pulled before it gets a lot worse. The poor dog was in a lot of pain but they didn't seem to care and did nothing.

Fantastic experience: Had a very sick puppy Bodhi and took him to duleek veterinary surgery. From the moment I went in the level of service and care was fantastic. But for me the after care was amazing. They kept in touch over the next few days alleviating my concerns but were genuinely interested in my pups wellbeing. Negative experience: The worst vet I have ever been to. Very Rude secretary started trying to tell me there was nothing wrong with my dog when he was ill and didn't want to let the vet see the dog without appointment even though there was no customers there, When I eventually got to see the vet after convincing the rude woman behind the counter, they treated the dog for something else and not what I told them the problem was. Also they sent my friends dog home with medication when the dog needed surgery, when they brought her to another vet they had to do emergency surgery. Very bad service and very rude secretaries. I know I would never trust them with my animal again. Take your dog to a different vet and don't waste your money.

Fantastic experience: We had some recent issues with our dog needing surgery for a mammary cyst (turned out to be low grade carcinoma), and then subsequent care for diabetes. Previous to that we have taken our dogs here for dental cleaning/ extractions, grooming, and general check-ups. The front staff, nurses, and veterinarians here are brilliant. With one of our dogs having diabetes it has meant considerable contact with the clinic in order to regulate insulin dosage. The vet spotted pancreatitis quickly and alleviated the symptoms with hydration and food management. We are very lucky to have this vet practice close-by. They are all committed to the well-being of the animal, and they take conservative approaches to procedures, testing, management etc., which provides one with confidence. For all the procedures and care our dogs have been given, in particular the diabetic dog, this practice offered very reasonable rates. I would have every confidence in recommending this practice given their professional and sincere approach to animal care.
