Fantastic experience: CVC Vets has been our vets for a number of years. They are always a joy to deal with it. We moved further away a few years back but still kept them as our vets because we felt the service was worth the extra travel.

Fantastic experience: I understand that the previous owners made a decision to leave but I find the newer and female staff are very sympathetic to any situation and listen to the whole scenario of what led up to your pets problems

Fantastic experience: Professional Kind Veterinary Practice. All Staff clearly understand the owner's concerns and anxiety when their pet is ill. Full disclosure and all tests explained well in advance along with costs. They have a lovely receptionist who is so kind and efficient and loves animals I wouldn't put my dog in anyone else's hands

They are always professional, friendly, helpful and caring to pet owners even in what can sometimes be emotionally challenging circumstances In twenty years attending CVC with numerous pets we have never had a bad experience. The veterinary staff always take time to explain exam findings and discuss treatment options no matter how busy. The welfare of the pets always comes first.

Fantastic experience: We have brought our dog Harry to CVC since he was 8 week and he is now 11, all the staff are amazing to deal with and the vets are excellent, I would highly recommend them to any pet owner

Fantastic experience: We have been visiting Crescent Vets for over 10yrs with our little lady She requires monthly meds and a regular checkup. CCV are brilliant and the Vets, Nurses and Reception Staff are ALL compassionate, friendly and very knowledgeable. Regularly meet with Vets Louise, Ashling and Mike. Without them we literally would have lost our Dog many years ago. No hesitation in recommending.

Negative experience: I do not recommend this place to anyone. We were there once with a cat that felt bad. The "doctor", hearing our different accent, started acting immediately. First he said that our cat had been shot - although there was no trace of the shot, we thought it must be some magical weapon from another planet. Then he ordered an immediate X-ray and other tests for 300e. One of those who thinks that someone has poor English must be an idiot. Of course, our cat was not shot, he is still doing great.

Fantastic experience: I contacted CVC recently about a small dog I had seen thrown from a car at night and I rescued. They were so kind and helpful to get her fully checked out and treated. Noelle was great to look after such a nervous little dog and answer all my concerns. We kept "Rosie" and she is loving life in her new forever home. Thank you for your kindness

The team at Crescent Veterinary Clinic genuinely cares about the well-being of their patients, and it shows. I always feel reassured knowing my dear Laika was in such capable and compassionate hands. Fantastic experience: I have been taking my fur babies to crescent veterinary clinic for 19 years. The care they take of my dogs and the love they show them is first class. They have been there for my very elderly dog Ty, taking care of him as a pup and being there for him at the end of his 16 years. My other 2 dogs get the best of care from them also. Even my African grey parrot is looked after by the wonderful team. I wouldn't trust any other vets with my babies.

Negative experience: My beautiful and beloved dog Lexi a beautiful German Shepard was euthanised by heart stick barbarically while fully conscious. Lexi died a horrific death in excruciating pain and distress in front of myself , my husband and 4 teenage children . Heart stick also known as intra cardiac or intra cardiac injection can only be preformed if the animal is at a surgical level of anaesthesia. This is gold standard by the AVMA / American Veterinary Medical Association which the VCI / Veterinary Council of Ireland follow . Heart stick on conscious animals is illegal in most states in America . A vet in Scotland got struck off for doing it on a German Shepard. Heart stick on a conscious animal is morally and ethically wrong . Let me remind the vets of their oath I solemnly and sincerely declare that I will , to the best of my ability, uphold the honour , dignity and integrity of the Veterinary profession, that I will promote the welfare of animals entrusted to my care and that I will abide by the rulings of the Veterinary Council. I would 100 percent NOT recommend this Veterinary clinic on the grounds of Animal Welfare Animal Cruelty Honesty Integrity Professionalism Empathy Lack of specialised life supporting technology and equipment to deal with critically ill animals.

Negative experience: Rang this place after seeing the good reviews as I am living locally, my car is currently in the Garage and I have a puppy I am concerned about. Lady who answered the phone was rude and snappy, asked where my usual vets was I told her and then attempted to explain my situation (no car) as to why I couldn’t go there before I could even get the words out of my mouth she snapped across me to say “well I suggest you go there then”. I understand places are busy and people get stressed but it was absolutely no way to talk to someone who is already having a bad day. Very unprofessional I hope she doesn’t encounter someone as rude if she were having a bad day.

From the people on reception, to the veterinary staff, everyone is always friendly and helpful. I have always felt that my concerns have been listened to, and that my dogs best interests are at the forefront of everything. He's an anxious boy when at the vets but Noelle has been nothing but patient with him every time we visit. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend Crescent Vets to anyone.

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend CVC vets, I have been bringing my beloved dog Daisy there since she was a puppy & she is now 12. All the staff are so friendly, professional and knowledgeable. Myself and Daisy are put at ease immediately. She has needed a couple of operations & the care was exceptional. The follow up care even for small issues is brilliant and there is never an issue getting an appointment.

Negative experience: Very very bad experience with these veterinarians, cvc , all about the money and don't care about the health of your animal, Would highly recommend taken your pet to a different vets who would care for your pet and not there pocket

Fantastic experience: Our little Miniature Maltese dog Teddy recently had a major operation to remove a tube to his Bowel. He was kept in for a week and thank God is now recovering. Hugh O Callaghan and his team are awesome and the care attention given to Teddy was second to none. Our previous dog Dinkie a Toy Poodle was also cared by CVC and lived for 21 years. Fantastic experience: Have to say the veterinary team are so nice and friendly.been coming here for years with my dogs..(2 yorkies and Jack Russell)when they sadly passed the team were so kind and considerable.I just recently got another yorkie and booked him in with them.i would definitely recommend the crescent veterinary clinic .

Positive experience: Very professional felt very comfortable leaving my dog there , phoned them they had the dog in for an x-ray and surgery within 10 hrs and kept me informed the hole time about what was happening the price is a bit high but they did a fantastic job

Fantastic experience: It was my first time visiting the . was pleasantly surprised .The receptionist were very friendly and professional and a real caring place fir animals. NATASHA was super my dog had catarahs and was blind for 3 weeks .NATASHA got rid of the catarahs replaced new lenses in my dogs eyes .Super job ,super care and a very understanding person .Cooper has got a new lease of life he can now see with no problems thank god Thanks to Natasha and all the nursing staff for great care and great advice .

Fantastic experience: I have used this vet exclusively for the last 9 years for two dogs. The OES has had a number of health problems, all which have been treated quickly and to my satisfaction. The most recent, a tumour found by the incredibly skilled veterinarian on physical examination and by complete chance (skill and competence). The vet gave the dog a detailed examination for an unrelated illness. Told me she wasn't happy and needed a scan despite my slight reservations. Found the tumour, 6.15cm diameter. Booked her in for a spleenectomy the next day. Successfully removed the spleen and tumour which was then tested. Benign. The dog now lives out the rest of her days, happy and into old age, rather than the tumour rupturing and death which was guaranteed. That's a review to be proud of. We are a very happy and grateful customer for everything you've done for us.
