Rockhall Vets, Clare Street

Negative experience: I brought my dashaund down to clare street after I adopted her because her ears were irritated. Vet said there was nothing wrong with her ears but well give her these tablets bla bla 150e. Then a month later my golden retrievers ears started to bother him, so I went to a different vets to be told they both have ear mites and are passing them between the 2 of them. Vet in rockhall did not look under the microscope to check for mites. I would recommend the Vet in Edward street, he was very thorough. Even showed us thru the microscope. Now hes is on antibiotics and a 6 month course of tablets to treat them and we have to bring the dashaund back to be checked again.

We spoke through my dogs diet, his supplements, his general mental well-being and all other aspects of his health and i was given amazing guidance and advice on everything I could possibly need. Will certainly never be looking for a new vet ever again! Couldn’t recommend enough!

They kept me informed constantly and even though he had to be put to sleep at the end. I am so grateful for the staff that did everything to save him. If you are looking for a vet that truly cares about your pet. This is the one to go to.

Negative experience: First day I went there my cat got pills for eating and blood testes was done. They didnt show anything came back 2 days for inspecion another vet made again a consultation because the one who was on the first day didnt make any documentation for her. She made consultation and said thats something wrong with the cat made x rays and some other things. Went in with the cat at 11 came back without the cat at 3 pm as they put in it to sleep because it had cancer. Only plus was that the last vet Russian one knew what she is doing and knows her profession the one on Wednesday didnt have any clue cat couldt eat as it was cancer and she gave pills to bring the appetite very cruel!!! second thing cremated the cat for 130 euros 3 weeks ago none called me to collect the ashes.. Dont recommend this clinic but recommend the vet the Russian she knows what she is doing! Spended almost 700euro during two days there and no respect at all..

Fantastic experience: Love the staff here. They are amazing and so kind and caring towards their animals. They took a stray and nursed him back to health because they saw his character. We adopted him and if it wasn't for them he would not be ling his best life now. They are very gentle with Claude when he goes in for check ups and we cannot wait for the cat hostel to open up so he can go on his holidays
