Fantastic experience: They have looked after our cats for about thirteen years, always taking excellent care. Unfortunately, we recently had to put Patches to sleep as he had contracted FIV. They were so caring and made such a difficult time that much easier. There is a beautiful private room for the final goodbye and everybody is so respectful and considerate. I can't recommend them highly enough.

Fantastic experience: I had to put our furbaby cindy to sleep last week I have to say they couldn't have done enough for me and cindy I'd highly recommend them put me into a beautiful room with lovely candles and painting on the walls it was lovely gave me a beautiful poem with her paw prints and clipping from her hair ❤️ can't thank them enough for looking after cindy making her last few minutes so peaceful ❤️ xxxx

Negative experience: €25 for just a nail trim is ridiculous Had never been before to them and just needs a quick nail trim as we couldn't find a groomers and it's Saturday so our vet was closed I have never paid more then 10€ I got 6 guinea pigs nails trimmed for €30 And my chihuahuas aren't much bigger then her

Negative experience: If you're coming here for an injection/vaccine for your pet don't bother. The vet got more of the vaccine on my hand than in my pet. Incapable of holding the pet down for insertion of needle. Ridiculous carry on.

Fantastic experience: Had a very sick family dog recently who they worked around the clock to save including their own spare time. Couldn’t speak highly enough of them. Absolutely professional to the core.

Negative experience: An absolute joke of a place. Neglegent, rude and incapable are just a few words that come to mind. AVOID at all costs. Clearly their priority is to get as much money as they can rather than diagnosing my terminally ill dog. We can never bring our boy back but we will get him justice.

Fantastic experience: Found a stray dog and took him to mid west vets, staff were so helpful and scanned for micro chip, thankfully the dog was chipped and was reunited with the owner, thanks again for all your help!

Negative experience: Stay away!! I wish I could give minus stars! All they want is money. I've been bringing my dog to this vet for a few years and yesterday my dog passed away from cancer. If I didn't bring my dog to another veterinary clinic for a second opinion I would of never known. An hour in the other veterinary and I found out my dog had cancer and apparently he has had it over a year!!!!! The incapability of the staff in this clinic is staggering! I insist if you want a proper diagnosis for your pet! Do not go here! Unfortunately it was too late for me

Negative experience: If I could give -5 I would. WORST VETS EVER. The staff (1 vet in particular) are extremely rude and condescending. My dog died and really suffered the last week of his life due to their sheer negligence and lack of compassion. We took him to a different vets and they had him diagnosed within an hour but at that stage it was unfortunately too late. When I spoke with the manager he was rude, he didn't care about anything I had to say. If you have any cop on CHOOSE A DIFFERENT VETS. Since telling others my story - I have heard such bad things. Money grabbers is all they are.

Colette was brilliant with my cat, explained what was needed clearly to me, and thanks to her advice my cat had a procedure with my regular vet two days later and is doing great. We had a puppy at deaths door last week, she spent a few nights here and we were given aftercare for her. Today she is running around playing and seems to be well on the road to recovery. The bill was also very reasonable and I couldn't recommend MidWest Vets any higher.

Negative experience: These guys are fine for small things like nail clipping or small infections in your pets etc. But Twice they misdiagnosed my dog and the second time it caused her death. We only found out what was wrong with her because we brought her to a way better vet that knew what they were doing,but it was too late by then.DO NOT bring your pet here if they are sick, it will not end well. They have no clue when it comes to anything serious regarding illness.
